BREAD Card the award winning Prepaid Maestro Card, has been nominated as a finalist in the Card Awards 2008 for the ‘Best Pre-paid Card Marketing Campaign of the Year’. Payment Card Solutions (UK) Ltd (PCS) was formed in September 2006 with the intent of entering the Prepaid Card sector. It was quickly determined that there was a gap in the market for a strongly branded consumer friendly priced card that could identify with the 1.9m unbanked and credit damaged individuals in the UK and meet the needs of the financially ‘underserved’. The aims of PCS were therefore clear from the outset: Create a card programme that was accessible, economical and relevant for this market. The PCS management team were focused on developing a bespoke card programme that matched their objectives. In short, the PCS team believes that the BREAD card is the best card on the market for its consumers and combines not just competitive fees but also an identifiable brand that will continue to resonate with its target consumer and grow exponentially.
